NoahFace App Version Numbers

The NoahFace App has been updated to use version numbers that start with a year prefix.

So, for example, all versions of the NoahFace App released in 2024 will have a version number in the form of 24.X.

This allows you to see at a glance how old your currently installed Apps are, from either the Settings / Account Details page in the App, or from the Access Point Details page in the NoahFace Dashboard:

Minimum System Requirements

NoahFace strives to maintain compatibility with the widest range of hardware and Web browsers as is practical.

To demonstrate this commitment, the latest version of the NoahFace App only requires iPadOS version 14.0 or later, which means it will run on all iPad hardware models released in the last 10 years (since 2014).

Running the NoahFace App on old iPad Models

If you are currently running an iPadOS version earlier than iPadOS 14.0, you will need to upgrade iPadOS (see the iPad / iOS Compatibility Matrix for details) in order to install the latest version of the NoahFace App.

If you have an iPad model released 10+ years ago (eg: an iPad Air Gen 1, considered "Vintage"), you will not be able to upgrade beyond iOS 12.0, and you therefore will not be able to upgrade to the latest version of the NoahFace App.

While you can continue to run an old version of the NoahFace App that you have previously installed, you will not receive security patches, bug fixes, or new features.

Further, Apple will only allow you to install an old version of the NoahFace App on older versions of iPadOS/iOS (eg: iOS 12.0) if you are using the same Apple ID that you previously used to download and install the App - for example, if you deleted and are re-installing the App.

You should consider replacing 10+ year old iPad models proactively so that you can:

• Obtain security patches and bug fixes from Apple.
• Obtain security patches and bug fixes from NoahFace.
• Take advantage of far greater performance of recent Apple iPad hardware.

This will also allow you to take advantage of new NoahFace features that are made available on a continuous basis.
